Supporting sensory and motor development through the ACE Programme
At the foundation of the ACE Programme is a strong focus on sensory-motor experiences – because how children experience the world through their senses plays a vital role in their overall development.
We’re committed to meeting each child’s unique sensory needs. By offering play-based, movement-rich experiences that are individualised to each child’s sensory profile, we support the development of their sensory integration – the brain’s ability to take in, organise, and respond to information from the senses.
To guide this process, we work closely with our occupational therapy team who help us to understand each child’s sensory preferences and support needs, so that we can build a progression of playful, body-and-mind-connected activities that help children feel regulated, confident, and engaged.

Creating a sensory-supportive environment
In the ACE Studio, our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to be sensitive and responsive to each child’s individual sensory needs. Whether a child needs calm and soothing input, or energising, movement-based challenges, we thoughtfully shape their environment to support meaningful exploration and learning.
We continually introduce new materials and opportunities that gently challenge and extend each child—so they can grow, adapt, and thrive through joyful, supported experiences.
