Understanding Sensory Integration
Each child processes and responds to information from the senses in a different way. This process is called sensory integration. When children can process sensations effectively, they’re better able to:
- Regulate their emotions and energy levels.
- Learn and concentrate.
- Move confidently and with coordination.
- engage in meaningful play.
- connect with others
In the ACE Studio, our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to be sensitive and responsive to each child’s individual sensory needs. Whether a child needs calm and soothing input, or energising, movement-based challenges, we thoughtfully shape their environment to support meaningful exploration and learning.
We continually introduce new materials and opportunities that gently challenge and extend each child—so they can grow, adapt, and thrive through joyful, supported experiences.
