Ashton’s Place has developed training and education to support the staff, community and families caring for young autistic children.
Online training modules have been developed to cover a range of topics which support the learning of neurodivergent children in early education settings.
All Ashton’s Place staff members engage in regular training, to ensure that each team member holds the essential and desirable skills required to meet the needs of the children that they support.
Training includes mandatory training relating to the NDIS Practice Standards and other National Disability Insurance Scheme guidelines, and working with young children, along with trainings that are specific to the running of the ACE Programme, such as:
